On Saturday, May 24th, explore what it takes to produce food and fiber in the Skagit Valley on this all-inclusive tour. Gain insights into the shared challenges and opportunities of land stewardship, watersheds, and community vitality in our region.

Hear from experts and engage in meaningful discussions while enjoying locally prepared foods from the sea, the farm, and the forest. The tour weaves together the Watershed Story of Skagit’s working farms, ocean harvests, and forest lands.

This full-day experience includes exclusive visits to:


🌊 Swinomish Shellfish Farm, where clean water nurtures a thriving ecosystem and supports local seafood.
🌾 Hedlin’s Family Farm, showcasing sustainable practices that balance agriculture and watershed health.
🌲 Hampton Tree Farm, demonstrating the role of forestry in water conservation and environmental stewardship.

Savor a lunchtime menu prepared by Chef Christy Fox and freshly shucked oysters from Seas the Day Oyster bar.
