With over 150 years of farming history, the Skagit Valley is now recognized as one of the most important agricultural valleys remaining in Puget Sound. 

Many Skagit Valley farmers and food producers sell their products at Skagit Valley farmers markets. Each market has a different personality, giving an inside story of the farmers and owners.  Take the opportunity to buy fresh food directly where it is produced. Anacortes Farmers Market

Outdoor Markets on Saturdays from 9-2 from May- Oct on “R” Avenue in Downtown Anacortes. Winter Markets are on the second Saturday of the month – Jan, Feb, Mar and Apr located at the Depot.

The Anacortes Farmers Market provides a weekly, seasonal market featuring local produce, dairy, wild-harvested seafood, organic local beef, handmade treats, locally produced wine, food trucks, and lots of handmade crafts.

Alger Sunday Market

Sundays from July – September from 11-4. Located at Alger Community Hall.

A community market with friends and neighbors.

Concrete Saturday Market

Market on Saturdays from 10-2 from Memorial Day to Labor Day at the Concrete Community Center.

​The Concrete Saturday Market is home to farmers, gardeners, artists, artisans, and crafters.

Eagle Haven Sunday Market

Market on Sundays from 11-4 from Mid-May to Mid-October at Eagle Haven Winery.

Located on the grounds of Eagle Haven Winery just outside of Sedro Woolley, Eagle Haven’s Sunday Market is from 11 – 4 featuring live music from 1-3. From Mid-May to Mid-October. Local produce as well as arts and crafts.

Island Health Farmstand

Tuesdays, 11 a.m.-3 p.m from June – September at Island Health in Anacortes.

The farm stand is open to the employees of Island Health as well as the Anacortes community.

Schuh Farms will be providing Fresh-to-Go bags consisting of 4-5 produce items changing weekly based on what is fresh from the farm.  These are a grab-‘n-go bag for you to pick-up fresh items from Farm Stand and ensures that you will receive the top-quality produce available.

Breads and baked goods from Water Tank Bakery, produce and herbs from Ebb & Flow Herb Farm and mushrooms from Dog Island Mushrooms will also be available.

Mount Vernon Farmers Market

Outdoor Market on Saturdays 9-2 from Mid-May to Mid-October in downtown Mount Vernon along the scenic riverwalk.

Since 1987. The mission of the Mount Vernon Farmers Market is to provide the citizens of Skagit County fresh locally grown produce and handcrafted items, and to support community agriculture in a friendly, informative atmosphere.

The Mount Vernon Farmers Market offers produce and goods from over 50 vendors every Saturday morning between mid-May and mid-October.

Sedro Woolley Farmers Market

Open from 3-7 p.m. from mid-May to mid-October at Hammer Heritage Square in downtown Sedro Woolley.

The Sedro Woolley Farmers Market brings fresh, local food and products to Sedro-Woolley residents and neighbors with a strong community spirit.

Skagit Valley Farmers Market at the Vinery

Open from 10-2 from the end of May through Labor Day, next to Christianson’s Nursery & Greenhouse.

Located next door from the iconic Christianson’s Nursery,  “The Vinery”, hosts the market on Sundays from May 28th until autumn. The area The Vinery stands operated as a stationary pea vining site from the 1940s to the 1960s, inviting the name “The Vinery”. Visit the kid and dog friendly market for locally made goods, Skagit Valley produce, and much more.
