Tulip Town

What can you expect when visiting Tulip Town for the 2023 Skagit Valley Tulip Festival season?

  • Field walks among the rows and rows of tulips (5 acres of 50+ varieties) soaking in the vibrant sea of color.
  • Old-school trolley rides through the tulips (weather-dependent).
  • More tulips than ever before (nearly 100k!) in the newly renovated display garden. Along with the more than fifty varieties of tulips, the garden will be filled with crocuses, daffodils, and irises to show off the spectacular colors of spring.
  • A sensational picture-worthy spectacle this year is a giant tulip-shaped garden brimming with tulips and features a canal running through it.
  • Tulip Town’s beloved Veteran’s Memorial Garden has been relocated on the farm and boasts new fountains and flags representing all military branches.
  • Visitors will enter through one location this year, and easy-to-read signage will guide them to the white ticket booth entry area.
  • Shop local at Tulip Town’s retail boutique featuring artisan wares, goods, and gifts from Skagit Acres.
  • Browse the flower stand and nursery for plants, pottery, and more.
  • Enjoy local ice cream, coffee, and treats from farm-to-fork bistro Skagit Landing at Tulip Town.
  • Beer and Wine Garden (sip hyper-local beer, wine, and cider under the white string lights strewn overhead.)
  • Purchase bulbs by scanning a QR code associated with the tulips in the field.

We recently asked the team at Tulip Town what their favorite #SkagitValley fruit and/or vegetable or why and here’s what they said:

  • Randy“Peas – Because my grandpa grew them, I loved eating them from his field right out of the pod and fresh off the vine.”
  • Rachael “Strawberries – because I used to go to u-pick with my Grammy, and when I got a bit older, I sold berries at the Youngquist Berry stand.”
  • Donnie“Cucumbers – Why? Because what’s not to love? They are refreshing and healthy.
  • Kristen“Strawberries – Why? Because I don’t believe there is anything better than a sweet Skagit Valley strawberry!”

Tulip Town also spreads joy beyond its fields and offers dozens of bulb varieties for the public to purchase and plant in their gardens. Now is the time to order tulip bulbs for your fall planting. All bulbs purchased now will be available for pick up, or shipping, in time for September planting. Find more information about ordering bulbs from Tulip Town HERE
