Fidalgo Coffee Roasters

#GSVMemberMonday Feature

Headquartered in Burlington, Washington, Fidalgo Coffee Roasters has been roasting specialty-grade coffee since 1992. Originally starting as a small coffee house with a passion for providing the best cup of coffee available, Fidalgo Coffee has since grown into a full-fledged roasting operation shipping coffee internationally. Throughout Puget Sound and across the United States, Fidalgo’s perfectly roasted coffee powers the lattes, mochas, cold brews, and more at many of your favorite coffee houses and coffee stands. It is their company’s mission to roast and sell excellent coffees that people love – the kind they like to drink with friends and family!

Fidalgo Coffee values community and supports great institutions like Northwest HarvestVirginia Mason FoundationSeattle ChildrensSkagitonians to Preserve Farmland, Genuine Skagit Valley, and their own make-a-difference program called Underground Coffee . Underground Coffee is an outreach program and flagship enterprise of Underground Employer Network—inspiring employers in Northwest Washington to hire released prisoners and help interrupt mass incarceration in our communities.

‘Tis the season for warm coffee and sweaters. Fidalgo Coffee is pleased to be featuring their next sustainable, seasonal offering, Yuletide Roast. This organic, fair trade, and shade-grown, dark roast blend will be available on Fidalgo’s website within the week so stay tuned. With a smooth body and notes of toasted nuts, this is a seasonal treat you don’t want to miss. Available through the end of the year!

We recently caught up with our friends at Fidalgo Coffee Roasters to find out what their favorite locally grown crop was. Cherries! Not only is it a refreshing and delicious fruit, but it is a flavor note that you might see in specialty coffees. Their Organic Italian roast, for example, has a subtle dark cherry flavor.

Fidalgo Coffee Roasters’s roastery and retail shop is located at 856 North Hill Blvd in Burlington, Washington and is open from Mon – Fri, from 10am – 3pm. You can also find Fidalgo Coffee Roasters at numerous coffee houses and grocers here in the Pacific Northwest including Haggen Food and Pharmacy, The Skagit Valley Food Co-Op, Safeway, and more. Not local to Skagit County? No problem. Fidalgo Coffee also ships their coffee nationwide directly through their website. For International shipping options, please contact the team at Fidalgo Coffee directly at info@fidalgocoffee.com

We’re grateful for the support of our friends from Fidalgo Coffee Roasters and are proud to feature the team as this week’s #GSVMemberMonday feature!
