Gardening Class and Farm Tour at Blanchard Mountain Farm

Class Topic: Herbal Happy Hour Garden to Glass and Farm Tour

In addition to being farmers, Linda Versage and Walter Brodie of Blanchard Mountain Farm have worked in education and wellness for many years. Walter was a school nurse in public schools for over 20 years. Linda was an environmental, science and garden educator; teaching all ages. She has expertise in native plants and is also a current Master Gardener.

Robin Haglund is the founder of Garden Mentors and lives here in the Skagit Valley. She is a garden coach and seasoned international gardening keynote speaker, teacher, writer, and media personality. Her passion is helping folks be their best gardener by sharing advice and tips.

Robin will teach these classes in the farm classroom, then Linda will take you on a short farm tour to see the herbs, vegetables, flowers, hedgerows, insects, birds and weeds that are all part of the farm ecosystem. Afterwards, feel free to shop in their Farm Stand for fresh produce.
