DESCRIPTION:Join us for our first GSV Member Mixer of 2025! Not only are GSV Member Mixers a way to connect\, but they are also an extension of appreciation for our GSV membership. The Mixer will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Schoolhouse at Christianson’s Nursery and Greenhouse.  \n\n\n\nOn February 11th\, we will also welcome Amber Foist\, EBT Retail & Program Manager from the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services. In support of increasing farm revenue by lowering barriers for vendors to EBT/SNAP payment acceptance\, GSV has partnered with DSHS to increase education and accessibility to no-cost EBT equipment and fee subsidization programs. Come with questions and gain valuable insights into how you can integrate EBT/SNAP into your farm operation. \n\n\n\nFarmers and community members welcome! ⁠Enjoy bites and beverages from Genuine Skagit Cooking. DESCRIPTION:Come swap seeds for Spring gardening\, talk shop with expert gardeners\, or just pick up new seeds. The fix-it fair will host clothing mending\, knife sharpening\, bike repair and more. Grab a pint\, mend your goods\, and prepare for spring! Vendors\, food\, farmers and more as well. All services are free or by donation.  \n\n\n\nCome say hello at the GSV table and grab some sweet pea seeds! The SKA-COM Seed Swap & Fix-It Fair has grown by leaps and bounds and will now be held at The Vinery at Christianson’s Nursery. Door prizes will include a free copy of Genuine Skagit Cooking as well as other fantastic gifts from the community.
